History:

Employment services in British India were introduced in 1945. On dismember of one unit in 1970, the employment exchange were transferred to Sindh Govt and placed under the Directorate of Labor Sindh Manpower and employment wing of the Directorate of Labor Sindh was separated in July, 1980 and placed under the change of Joint Director. However on 10.9.84 a full fledged Directorate of Manpower and Training was established in Sindh Under a directorate.
